  1. My first year of college I was driving back from Christmas in Colorado to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I couldn’t see anything, and was relying on Siri to help navigate. Finally, around midnight I made it out of the mountain passes, and into Oklahoma’s panhandle with 6 hours to go until Tulsa.
Siri told me to go “straight”, which I obeyed, and next thing I know I was hitting a curb driving off the only hill in all of Oklahoma.
After I got my composure and realized I was okay, I continued to drive to the nearest gas station a few miles away. I decided I should pull in to take a break until I was able to drive safely again. Unfortunately, when I returned to my car it was flooded in a pool of oil. I had cracked my oil pan.

While I was busy on the phone trying to get someone from Tulsa to rescue me, a stranger appeared within minutes and began to help.
He pushed my car to a nearby garage, called the garage owner to come in at 1:00 AM to look at my car, got permission to store my car there for free, drove me an hour away to the nearest hotel an hour away, paid for my hotel room, paid for fast food dinner, and gave me money to fix my car for when I got home.

He told me that if this had happened to his daughter, he would want someone to help.
